Daily Reading: Ezekiel 37-39

Ezekiel 39:8

Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.

The Lord makes a declarative statement. He said …it is done…I have spoken. But it wasn’t done. Not yet at least. He is putting forth, through the prophet Ezekiel, prophecies that will be fulfilled, but they are not yet fulfilled. The promise of the Lord to regather and restore Israel, the fulfillment of the time of the Gentiles, and the battle of Gog and Magog will happen. They just haven’t happened yet. By reading the book of the Revelation one can see the future fulfillment of these, and many more prophecies. Just because it hasn’t happened yet, doesn’t mean it will never happen. It will, it must! Why? Because God Almighty said …it is done…I have spoken.

Anything that God declaratively speaks through His Word, know this. It is done…I have spoken.

Until tomorrow, live for Christ today.
