Daily Reading: John 19-21

John 21:25

And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

The Bible is a compilation of 66 books, 1,189 chapters, 31,173 verses, and 774,746 words. Yet it does not begin to scratch the surface of all that the Lord did, is doing, and will do. However it contains all that God wants the human race to know.

Perhaps when we all get to Heaven, He will tell us the rest. Oh, the stories of His great exploits will never grow old. Think about it like this, consider all the things that He has done for you, then multiply that by how many believers there have been through the ages. Truly, to write every one, as John said: the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen! Amen!

Perhaps in glory you and I will be able to visit, and you can tell me everything He has done for you. I would like to hear those stories. Until then though, know that He is on the job serving any and all who come unto Him through faith. Keeping you, leading you, protecting you, teaching you, challenging you, helping you, and so many other things that time and space prohibit their being recorded here. But one day, please tell me. I for one would love to hear your story of all that He has done for you.

Until tomorrow, live for Christ today.
